Boarders invited to Parliament Buildings, Stormont

DUP MLA for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, Arlene Foster hosted an event in Parliament Buildings, Stormont to mark the record service of Her Majesty The Queen. On 9th September HM The Queen become the longest-reigning monarch in British history and the longest reigning female monarch in world history.

The event was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of County Down, David Lindsay, and included a display of important artefacts including a throne used by HM The Queen when she visited Parliament Buildings, the Coronation Vase; a specially commissioned piece of artwork made for the occasion of the coronation and various pictures relating to the Queen's long reign. Boarders from Victoria College Belfast were delighted to be invited to this special occasion.
